Car equity release by manufacturer
Every marque we arrange car equity release against, with the number of models covered and the value range each one spans. Values run from £30,000 to £5,400,000, and a lender will typically advance 50 to 70 per cent of what your car is worth.

How value differs across these manufacturers
The 92 models on this site do not behave the same way, and the difference decides how a lender approaches them. 58 are still in production and 34 are not. A car still being built has a live market and a value that can be established in an afternoon. A car out of production is valued from what comparable examples have actually achieved, which takes longer and rewards a complete history file. The oldest model covered here runs back to 1990.
The spread is wider than the marque names suggest. 24 of these models sit above £1,000,000 and 17 sit below £100,000, so this is not a single market with a single answer. Releasing 70 per cent against a £5,400,000 car and against a £30,000 car are different transactions with different lenders behind them.
Which manufacturers we cover most deeply
Porsche has the deepest coverage at 16 models. Lotus has the widest internal range, running from £30,000 to £2,040,000, a factor of about 68. Depth of coverage reflects how many distinct models a marque has produced rather than how much we like it, and a marque with two entries is not one we are less able to help with.
Four of these manufacturers have a site of their own covering purchase finance in considerably more depth than we do here: Ferrari finance, Bentley finance, Koenigsegg finance and Pagani finance. The remaining twelve are covered at Hypercar Finance. This site stays on the narrower question of what a car you already own will release.
How to read the figures on these pages
Each manufacturer page lists every model with an indicative value and the band a lender would typically advance against it, being 50 to 70 per cent of that value. The bar beside each figure shows that share drawn to scale.
Subtract anything still owed on your car from the advance, and what is left is what reaches you. Use the settlement figure from your current lender rather than the balance on your statement: they are not the same number, and the settlement figure is the one the arithmetic uses.
Values are indicative market positions for each model, held in our own dataset and checked rather than warranted. They are not list prices and they are not a valuation of your car. If your marque is not on this list it does not mean we cannot help, only that we have not written a page about it yet. Ask.
Find out what your car will release
Tell us what the car is and whether anything is still owed on it. We come back with what a lender is likely to advance against it and what that would cost to service. If the answer is that it does not work, that is the answer you get.
